Burlesque:
La Cachette

February 11-14 & 18-21

Ring, ring… La Cachette is calling.

And the phone only rings for those meant to hear it.

Tumbleweed’s Burlesque is back for its third iteration and it’s bigger and better than ever.

Behind the velvet curtain of the Pink Garter lies La Cachette (The Hideout), a clandestine 1940s hideaway shrouded in secrecy and decadence. It’s a place that shouldn’t exist, except for those bold enough to step inside. La Cachette is where dancers loosen their laces, lovers trade glances in low light, and the night stretches itself across satin and smoke.

GRANITE
Volume II - Access

Calls for Submission

For Granite’s second issue, we invite work that explores Access — its thresholds, its permissions, its gates and gatekeepers, its fractures and consequences.

In a place like Jackson Hole, where what is visible and what is hidden rarely align, what does it mean to enter, to be denied, to inherit, to trespass, to open the locked doors we face? How does access shape identity, community, land, memory and/or survival in this part of the world?

Show us the spaces you’ve been allowed into, the ones you’ve been pushed out of, the ones you’ve built yourself and the ones that desperately need to be built.

We’re looking for poems, letters, short stories, illustrations, play excerpts, essays, photographs and hybrid works that interrogate the cost of entry, the privilege of presence and the ways we adapt when the doors stay locked, and no path is offered at all.

Submissions accepted: February 1, 2026 - March 31, 2026
