Tumbleweed is proud to announce the SHORT FILM SHOWDOWN, a film competition in which participating individuals and teams must write, shoot, edit and submit an original short film in just 50 hours.

A musical about Mardy and Olaus Murie: “The Importance of Wild Country,” our first youth production. In collaboration with over 15 local artists, “Wild Country” is an original creative “quilt” featuring scenes by multiple local writers & songs by 9 local songwriters. The story is loosely based on the real adventures of the Muries, known as the mother & father of conservation in Jackson Hole, & features vignettes centered around various human & animal characters.
