We're proud to announce Tumbleweed’s fall productions: The world premiere of Charley Daveler’s Strings Attached and Bram Stoker's Dracula: Adapted for the Stage by Evie Lewis.
These shows carry forward the focus on local artists, original programming, and community that Andrew Munz established as Tumbleweed's founding artistic director. We invite you to get involved, whether it’s on stage, in the audience, or as a supporter.
Strings Attached
Original puppet theatre
Show Dates
Sept. 25–27 and Oct. 1–3, 2026 | 7:30 p.m.
Written by Charley Daveler and directed by Lacey Lukas, Strings Attached is an original puppet play in two acts that's part workplace comedy, part theatrical horror, and part love letter to every artist who's ever been told they're the problem. When struggling playwright Austen Gibson reluctantly joins the prestigious Proscenium Athenaeum, she discovers her old college nightmares never really died…they just got a bigger budget. A hilarious and heartfelt satire about ambition, belonging, and the cost of "the show must go on."
No puppetry experience? No problem. A workshop before auditions gives you a chance to learn the craft and meet the show's colorful “cast members.”
