Tumbleweed is proud to present its production of “The Importance of Wild Country”, an original musical about Olaus and Mardy Murie, their love for one another, and their shared message of conservation. Loosely adapted from the Muries' own writings, "Wild Country" is a dreamlike musical comedy told through original songs, comedy scenes, improv and dance, featuring original folk songs, and a full cast of youth actors. The story maneuvers through the seasons, unplugged from time, showcasing the coexistence of humans and wildlife, and the beauty found in every corner of our valley.
