Writing for the Stage: Session B

CLASS DESCRIPTION
Playwriting isn’t just about telling a story—it’s about creating an experience for both audiences and performers alike. In this six-week writing course, instructor Andrew Munz invites you to reimagine what a play can be. Why this story? Why now? Why these characters? These are the questions we’ll wrestle with as we uncover what makes your work urgent, alive, and impossible to ignore.

Through bold exercises and unique approaches, you’ll learn to shape dialogue, structure chaos, and manipulate the stage to capture your audience and create a dynamic story. This is a course for writers of all experience levels who want to push boundaries, embrace risk, and explore the radical potential of live performance. By the end, you’ll have the foundation of your own full-length play, one-woman show, or whatever you dream up.

This isn’t playwriting as usual—it’s writing for the stage with purpose, power, and a touch of audacity.
