Andrew Munz: Founder & Founding Artistic Director

As our Founder and Founding Artistic Director, Andrew created Tumbleweed from the ground up, establishing the artistic standards, the community relationships, and the organizational culture that define who we are. His belief in Jackson's creative community wasn't abstract. He acted on it, building a platform where local artists could share original work, develop their craft, and find an audience that took them seriously.

The programs Andrew built, the events he produced, and the standards he set didn't just launch an organization, they set a foundation that continues to shape everything Tumbleweed does. His creative leadership gave Jackson artists a home, and gave this community something it didn't have before: a dedicated space to celebrate what's made here.

We are grateful for Andrew's vision, his generosity, and the legacy he leaves at the heart of Tumbleweed Creative Arts.
